This dish was completely hand formed and features a douglas pine sgraffitoed onto the interior on a layer of white terra sigillata. An oxide is applied and wiped back to accentuate its details. While it is technically food safe, I wouldn’t recommend anything liquid in it due to the texture of the carving and matte surface. Perhaps some berries or grapes. I personally would maybe use it for jewelry, or little bits of nature. :)
