A simpler version of my landscape mugs!

This mug was hand thrown on the wheel and glazed with a unique, spotted glaze that creates this mottled surface. And there’s a nice little surprise underneath. :) A little landscape embellishes the bottom, framed by the foot ring. A white terra sigillata is applied to leather hard clay, and the lines of the landscape are carved in by hand. Colored slip and underglazes are used to color it before its final firing.

Fired to cone 6 in an electric kiln.

Microwave safe. Hand washing recommended.
